Retribute Records` designer is putting his finishing touch on the CD booklet and has been working on the coverart, originally made by Manuel Cantero and Parker Weston Neely.
Tailor Maid Production/ Peter In De Betou did a superb master of the CD! The actual release date for "Blood Vessel Criteria" will be published later.
On our upcoming gigs in October and November, the very pregnant Elin will be replaced by session bassist Erlend "the friendly ghost" or "Øll'n" Caspersen from Blood Red Throne and The Allseeing I.
Studio Report

We’re in the final round finishing our coming full-length cd, Blood Vessel Criteria. The recording/mix was done in Strand Studio, Oslo. When writing this we are waiting for feedback regarding mastering. The record will be released by Retribute Records some time during Autumn. Make sure you check back here for release date. We are also exited to meet you all on the road during autumn!

Thanks to all people that showed up on the concert. It was awsome to see so many people! Thanx to fans, friends and also to people that we don’t know for keeping Elin and Mads busy with your questions yesterday night on the NRK2 chat on national TV. Great to hear from you folks!
Next week is studio start for Zeenon. The recording will take place in familiar environment at Strand Studios in Oslo. Extreme music label Retribute Records will distribute the album through their label, along with retail distributors Shellshock (Europe) and Century Media (US). Stay tuned and keep your eyes and ears open for release date…
Tomorrow we’ll have an appearance at the gaming worlds answer to the Oscars: Gullstikka. This event will take place at Rockefeller.
This forthcoming weekend the band is heading for the beautiful city of Bergen, headlining the Piggtråd Festival! All those who live near Bergen is hereby commanded to get their lazy behinds to Piggtråd!! See you there!

International Music Market

Music Export Norway will attend the great International Music Market, MIDEM (www.midem.com) this year to promote Norwegian music for an international market. This great centre of networking and promoting will attract thousands of music industry professionals from around the world. It will take place in Cannes, France and Zeenon is proud to announce to be one of the chosen artists to represent the metal genre from Norway. Together with other excellent artists from Norway, Zeenon will participate on the cd with the song Superior Control System from our new mini-cd "Arbor Vitae". The purpose of the seminar is to profile Norwegian music international to achieve international contracts and encourage international attention towards Norwegian bands.

New music video ready for take off! The song is "Alienated" from the Inject the Truth demo (2002). The video gives us a glimpse of the struggle in a pshyciatric patient life. A huge thanks to all people that has been involved in the making of the video. People to be mentioned is Johanna Kraus Utne for great make-up, Gracia Cerrato for the artistic needlework that resulted in all our clothing, Eivind Norbom for story board and shooting and finally Neil McNasty for editing the video only to show Zeenon from our good angles. We`ll like to welcome Mads Gulbekkhei as our new competent drummer. Mads has convinced everyone that he is correct for Zeenon and will put his sound & soul (and legs) on the new master piece that is to be recorded this Autumn. New material is produced and the record will be a pioner compared to previous recordings.

TOM HAS QUIT AND ZEENON SEEKS NEW DRUMMER

Due to musical differences, drummer Tom has decided to quiet Zeenon. He will now fully concentrate on his other band KOLDBRANN. Tom wants to thank the girls in Zeenon for 3 great years with lots of fun, wonderful times and great memories he will carry with him the rest of his life. Zeenon is currently looking for a replacement who can handle double bass drums, tribal beats and the things necesarry for the type of drumming needed in Zeenon.

Zeenon would like to thank Ole-Jørgen and the rest of the Moshfest crew for making the festival so well organized. Also thanks to the other bands and people we got to know and also for the greeat response we got. Pictures from the festival will hopefully be up soon.

August 01 2002, REST IN PEACE OUR DEAR NINA
Tuesday July 30th 2002 at 05:25 our beloved and dearest friend and bass player Nina Engen Hansen passed away. As many of you know she has had cancer/leukemia for four years now, and has fought a long and though battle. Although being hospitalized for longer periods, still she kept the faith.

Nina was an incredibly warm and loving person. She was always in a good mood, and she was a woman you could trust. Despite her condition, she was always there to help other people.

Saturday 27.07.02 she celebrated her 30th birthday. Family and friends went in and out of the hospital for 3 days, and Nina was the perfect host. Nina loved socializing, and having a big birthday party like this was the best ending for her.

Monday at noon she fell in a coma. Her body and mind were tired of fighting...She has taken farwell with her beloved Paal, her mom Solfrid, her dad Kjell, her sister Vivian and her nephew Sondre.

Nina, We`ll be seeing you again.

Zeenon have hired a session bass player for the concerts in May. Her name is Elin Henden and she has previouse experienses with the band Desiderium and also more technical music.
